PREPARING PEACOCK
Peacock Posture is one of the oldest in Hatha yoga. It is incredibly powerful but difficult to do. To build the strength and balance, start by keeping your feet on the ground. Slowly shift your weight forward until you come onto the tops of your toes. Then lift one leg at a time from the floor. Each step puts a little more pressure on the arms and abdomen, preparing you for balance.
