And the highlight of the Geneva Health Forum 2018 was our very special side event “Youth engagement for health in the digital age”.
It was such a privilege to be part of the first event of the Global Health Young Professionals Initiative launched by Global Health students at the University of Geneva.
This panel was much needed to voice our experiences, challenges and ambitions. Young professionals should be seen as partners since we’re the kids born in the digital age And precision global health can only be improved when our ideas are put into practice.
Debating with the distinguished panelists -WHO DG senior adviser on youth and gender Dr. Diah Saminarsi, WHO consultant at the Health Workforce Department Basem Mohammed, Yacine Ndiaye and kai-Ling Marcus- was nothing but empowering, engaging and enlightening.
Yes we are young professionals today but we’ll be the leaders of tomorrow!
See you in 2 years #GHF20
