There's been a shift in my IG posts. A shift that some say to be “hipster” or “trendy”. However for me this is necessary. I have a gluten intolerance that has progressively gotten worse. Last week I came to terms with the fact that I cannot enjoy foods the same way others do and that it affects more than just my digestive system. Headaches. Attention. Anxiety. Fatigue. Joint pain. Irritable. Forgetful. Absentminded. Nausea. Dizzy. Too much to bear and time to make a change.
So last week I cut out all gluten. This includes BEER! My wonderful support team of @iambdj1979 and @brandy_c_82 have agreed to help not hinder in this decision. They have both made an effort to cook gluten free with me and have taken the time to understand what all contains gluten.
If you've read this far I will tell you what happened in the 7 days I've been completely gluten free.
I now wake up refreshed and alert. A feeling that has not come without caffeine in a very long time.
My skin condition is getting better.
The general swelling in my stomach is gone.
My symptoms are diminishing.
My lactose intolerance is decreasing!
All in just 7 days. Now I have found gluten free drinks that I can enjoy and I am happy to say I will continue on my mission to post about drinks and food that are GF. Cheers all!
