I told the PT I had access to a pool at the gym and she told me she wanted me to do squats and lunges in the pool so here I am. It felt nice to do something - 100 squats, 80 lunges, 40 leg lifts, and the remainder of the hour spent pacing up and down the lane getting used to walking on my leg in water.
Of the 5 options for what is going on with my knee being unable to bend past 70 degrees, it's not inflammation. The steroids have done nothing but make me ravenously destroy my kitchen all week. So now we're down to 4 possibilities and only one of those doesn't require a second procedure. Does anyone have any tips to prevent muscle guarding? My PT is optimistic that an angry quad what I'm working with; I'm less convinced, but at this point I will try anything!
