This week's been kicking my ass and with how hard I went past couple days im sore as hell all over. I had an opportunity to take a nap here at my mom's but I'm glad I didn't. I decided active recovery yoga and stretching. I had a little partner for a bit but my little girl is just everywhere especially at her grandparents. Next time it'll be a daughter and dad yoga vid!

The first video is some standard things, crescent moon, sun salutations to a warrior pose downward dogs to vinyasas finishing with a yogi squat. I had a section of warrior pose to A poses but the video was to long. Kind of an overall general yoga stretch for the body. Simple and it hits where I'm most sore.

The second video is what i really love to focus on. Hip and pelvic alignment. I've shared before about my herniated disc way back when and this stuff truly helped me to recovery from that injury and stay strong. It's something that will always be there but with constant stretching and strengthening I can avoid it for a good portion of the rest of my life. .

I can't stress enough having your body aligned and in perfect sync with itself it makes a big difference! Just have to keepat it! Happy Wednesday, happy hump day! And above all happy gains-day! Whether you're pumping that iron or hitting the yoga mat, hell even working those brain cells, give it all you got!!

I've just finished work, i've been up since 3:15 that's already 14 Hours Non-Stop! 😭

Workout:
1. Squats for 5 sets of 20 reps superset with 5 sets of leg extensions for 12 reps.
2. Front squats for 4 sets of 12 superset with 4 sets of leg curls.
3. Leg press for 3 sets of 15 superset with leg curls using 1-10 Method. This method is done by starting with a weight you can preform one rep of, then you change the weight to do 2 reps, and so on until you hit 10 reps.
4. Leg press calf raise superset with donkey calf raises, plus seated calf raises 3 sets of 15 reps
5. Core: same exercises as last nights video. If you haven’t seen it I recommend checking it out! It definitely was a killer workout.
