There's a reason why I'm posting this today. You hear all the time "always remember your why. Now there is a tv show in the UK called A Place In The Sun. Basically a couple are shown property in the UK and then a property in the sunshine where one half of the couple really wants to live. Last night I watched this show and let's just say the property they were shown in the sunshine was amazing like stunning. Anyway what happened next blew me away. They opted to remain in the UK and the wife said the thought of never seeing her 4 year old grandson brought her to tears when they were making her decision. The irony is they are having to rethink where they live in the UK as the property they liked was expensive and they don't have it in their budget to do the works. Now once I'd got over the shock it was really obvious to me what her why is. I'm sure on holiday they said over dinner and cocktails they would love to live in the sun. The fact of the matter is we can often think we know what we want but when you finally get it will it make you happy. This got me thinking we often don't allow ourselves to really sink into the feelings of having what we want thinking we're tormenting ourselves. So think about your dreams really think about your why and let yourself go there. If you aren't fully clear on what you want and why you want it your dream might not be everything you hoped it would be. So think of your dream job, where you want to live, your ideal partner etc. Make that list as long as you want it to be. Focus on your why but also focus on how you will feel when you get your dream. Once you're clear on that your focus will be so much clearer. Go chase your dreams but also believe in your why!
