Here is a step up variation with a kettle bell. I like loading weight differently on my body when I perform exercises to challenge my core and stability. Adding the kettle bell up top forces me to engage my core, keep an upright posture, and practice shoulder stability. Not to mention, since it's one-sided, my obliques are working hard to keep me from leaning. As always when performing a step up, be sure to drive through your heel and not your toes to protect your knees and engage those glutes more. Happy stepping!
