Et une nouvelle étape dans ma vie de bébé traileuse... (mais déjà mordue !)

J'ai passé la première partie du parcours à répéter en boucle "ohlala que c'est beau !" et la deuxième partie à souffler "ohlala que c'est dur !"
.
J'ai fait monter le cardio, j'ai cavalé dans les descentes, j'ai fait une jolie glissade sur les fesses, je me suis fait doubler, j'ai grimpé à quatre pattes dans les montées les plus raides, j'ai vu des vaches au milieu du chemin, j'ai encouragé les coureurs qui n'en pouvaient plus... tout ceci avec migraine ophtalmique sur migraine ophtalmique sur les trois dernières heures de la course. Mais je n'ai rien lâché !
.
La ligne d'arrivée est franchie en sanglottant presque d'émotion, en 4 heures tout pile. C'est un chrono que je n'osais pas espérer et pourtant, je suis allée le chercher. Bien sûr, cela reste bien modeste par rapport aux plus forts, mais pour la première fois depuis longtemps, je suis fière de moi et heureuse de ma performance. J'ai donné tout ce que j'avais à donner ❤️

(Strava a un peu bugué, il y avait bien 26 km, 1400m de dénivelé et 4h00 de course)

Maintenant, place aux vacances !

Here is how to get sweat 💦 and a good cardio session in a short amount of time and in a funny way! I love HIITs because you get your heart rate high, burn a good amount of calories, continue burn calories and fat during the rest of the day, you're done in no time and you don't get bored running/walking hours on the treadmill!🤓

⛓ What you're gonna need:
• a box
• med ball 🏀 • 2 kettlebells (one lighter and one a bit heavier)
• a mat
.
🏋🏼‍♀️ The workout:
• Box Jumps x15
• Plank to push up x10 (each side)
• Banded (band is optional) Goblet Squats x15
• Med ball slam x15
• Kettlebell swings x15
.
Repeat all the exercises one after the other without rest in between. Rest 2 min and repeat x3! Trust me 3 rounds are more than enough!😰💦 25min and you're done!😉

Exercise not only changes your body, but also your mind, attitude and mood. For most of us moving our body, building strength, and sweating isn't part of our job or required for survival anymore. But it is what we were meant to do. It's is imperative and a nonnegotiable for health and longevity. So no matter how you get it in find joy in daily movement, whether it be sports, yoga, dance, hiking, swimming, biking, climbing, or sex (go ahead and get sweaty in the sheets!). In order for exercise to become a lifestyle, I believe it's important to find a reason beyond just looking good in a bathing suit. Here are a few: Exercise reduces stress, anxiety, and depression, improves cognition and retention. Sleep better. Exercise so you can play with your kids and grandkids, so you can hike Machu Picchu, the Camino de Santiago, Kilimanjaro, or the Grand Canyon at any age. Exercise to sweat out toxins, protect your kidneys, release endorphins, clear your head, and activate flow state. Oh yeah, exercise will also improve sexy time too! What's your reason?

#sweatyselfie Sunday edition. The Florida weather let me down and when I went out to do my outdoors workout it POURED down rain on me. I was so bummed I almost just called it a day. Things have been tough lately. Then I thought hard about it. God is trying to show me that things are not always going to go my way and I need to learn to be flexible if I'm going to be fully successful and happy. So I crushed an indoor workout instead and I'm feeling great now.
