I'm more than pleased with these results, especially with a trip to Norway smack dab in the middle of it. Imagine what i could have done had I had 4 solid weeks of workouts?

The last 30 days I've focused on getting my workouts in 6 out of 7 days a week, made healthier choices food wise, tried things I normally turned my nose up at (like tuna and other fish) and realized that a little willpower goes a long way.
Having a husband that is encouraging me, helping me and pushing me every day is a huge factor as well.
Small changes make results happen.
On August 27th I weighed in at 155.6 and today i weighed in at 148.8. That's 6.8 pounds in 30 days!!!! I am so proud of myself for breaking that 150 mark that I've been struggling with for quite some time.
I know it's not always about the number on the scale, but today it is.
Time to step it up a notch and see what the next 30 days bring! I will post the side by side pics (once I take a current one) so stay tuned.

Wanted to give you all something to think about.
There are only 16 weeks left in 2017.
1 lb a week = 16 lbs
2 lbs a week = 32lbs
If you don't have that much to lose, think of the inches you can lose or the muscle you can gain. Think of how you can tone up and feel overall healthier before the new year.
Imagine what you can do in 16 weeks if you start now.... First you need to DECIDE to make that change, if this is something that you want, we can work together to find out your goals and put a plan together.
Second, you need to COMMIT to following through with this plan. It won't be easy but it Is possible. You will have me behind you 100%. Do these two things and you will SUCCEED. .

The fact that i LOVE cafe latte shakeology floors me. Today i mixed unsweetened almond milk, water, ice, chocolate vegan & cafe latte shakeology. I LOVE it!!!! I start my morning off with this every day, and when i miss it i crave it.

Day 6/21: Strength 25
I struggled pushing play today but so happy I did. I was doing the mountain climbers and with every knee pull I kept saying "don't stop, don't stop, get it lori, get it done". So proud of myself for pushing through harder than I have yet with this program.
It doesn't get easier, you just get stronger.

Don't think just do it - day 12/21: Told myself that I wasn't procrastinating and doing it this morning. I've been having some issues (health wise) lately (numbness, dizziness, tiredness etc) so boy did I struggle today but it's done! Yesterday was rest day as I was up at 4:30am and never stopped Til 9pm last night. So today is strength 35.
Pressed play and so happy the workout is done! Now to make healthy choices for the rest of the day :) kick Fridays butt everyone, start the weekend off right xoxo .

LOVE this workout! Dripping in sweat before the first round was completed is ALWAYS a good thing. I am seeing with each day, each workout, just how freaking fabulous this program is. Week 2 ramps up by adding on to your basic moves from last week! How cool is that!
Had to double up workouts tonight (missed yesterday due to silly jobs cutting into workout time 😜), so tonight was Speed :35 and Strength :35. Boom!!! .

When you are telling yourself that you don't want to do it, no one will know if you skip it. You're lazy and tired and just want to do ANYTHING but workout... you go get dressed, put on your shoes and tell yourself you can do just 5 mins...after that you can stop.
What's so good about that is, after 5 mins you forgot you wanted to stop and you finish the workout and kick its a$$. Do it even when you don't want too.

Day 2/21: Finding my strength is what was running through my mind for this 25 mins... at one point you see my heavy sigh and in my head I thought, "really???". I even modified many of the exercises today after exhausting myself from them. I managed to pull together the strength to keep going, finish the workout and still be dripping in sweat.
Man I LOVE this program and I'm only at day 2. .

Never Give Up - Today I told myself through every exercise, "don't give up, come on girl you got this, just don't stop". It doesn't matter if you're getting every single rep in, you have to modify everything, or you want to quit 100 times in your workout. What matters is not giving up. Push through, march it out to the end, just do your best and I promise you will get stronger.
This workout is on 25 mins long but as you can see the exercises wear you down in a fantastic way. I had to stop once as I forgot to take my inhaler before I started, but I was only down for one exercise.

Wake up . Workout.
These are words I need to live by. Waking up and pressing play is the best feeling ever (especially once you're finished the workout 😜). Today I am back to routine after taking some days to rest and regroup. I am doing the 21 day fix extreme program but honestly wasn't feeling it today, so instead I decided to press play on my #happy. Turbo Jam is my go to, feel good, super sweaty favorite workout. It's where I started and I absolutely love it.
Super proud of myself for getting this done today. It was a struggle but I came out on top. Happy Thursday peeps!

You can tell from the video with the bands that I was so freaking exhausted at this point. I had no food again before beginning this workout and am quickly realizing that I need fuel to get these intense workouts done.
The fact that I pushed play is fantastic and I'm 5 for 5.

Day 4/21: woke up with the worst headache I've had in a very long time. Pushed snooze for an hour then decided to get up and press play on 10 minute hardcore abs. I will have to do lower fix later as time wouldn't permit me to do it all this morning, and by the pain I still have in my head persists I wouldn't have gotten in a successful half hour.
10 mins is better than no minutes...now where's the Advil

Day 3/21 - I may look bored but I'm actually not. Trying not to focus on how much my lower body is hurting at that moment. Pilates kicked butt! Literally! Oh how I felt that burn.

Day 2/21: Didn't get to sleep til 1am, then no alarm until 6am (turned them off over the weekend and forgot to turn them back on) which put me an hour behind schedule. I refuse to skip a workout for the next 21 days.
Today was upper body and I loved and hated it. Wanted to quit half way through telling myself that I will finish the second half later, but then part of me realizes it was an excuse so that I could just not finish. I plugged through and can barely lift my phone to type this, and my a$$ is killing from yesterday, but day 2 is done!
