I used to be in much better shape than I am now - I've run a few marathons, always moving, always grooving, and somewhere along the way, I fell out of love with my fitness and healthy living routine.
I got a super nice hand me down exercise bike from my grandfather when we were in the midwest for Thanksgiving, squeezed it into a tiny corner in our bedroom, and I've been forcing myself on it for 30-45 minutes almost every day.
I don't love it. I'm getting used to what I call 'bike butt' and my impatience to once again be fit right now is rearing its head.
What I do know from my past long hard miles on the trail, and what I want you to remember as you strive towards your goals, is that just a little bit of focused intention every day will move you forward steadily, and you will surpass what you've been aiming for.
It will probably hurt on some level, and you're going to want to talk yourself out of what needs doing. Do it anyway. 💪💖🔥 Photo cred: @darnspunky 💖
