Jurassic World, el reino caído, en portada.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is The Last Jedi of the Jurassic Park franchise. Trying to break new ground, trying to feel like the earlier films, being the middle chapter, and polarizing the fan base. It was nice to see some animatronic dinos again, but at times the CGI was a little rough. The first act was fun, but it starts to go off the rails by the middle of the second. Why does every second film recently have to act as a bridge without standing on its own? The twist was predictable and it felt like Pratt was kind of on autopilot. And yet I feel like Crichton would’ve approved the route they took with the story. Looks like we’ll have to see how the story concludes in 3 years. #jurassicworldfallenkingdom #jabayona #colintrevorrow #derekconnolly #chrispratt #brycedallashoward #rafespall #justicesmith #daniellapineda #jamescromwell #tonyjones #tedlevine #bdwong #isabellasermon #geraldinechaplin #jeffgoldblum #michaelcrichton #stevenspielberg #michaelgiacchino #amblinentertainment #universalpictures #legendarypictures #thekennedymarshallcompany #jurassicpark #jurassicworld #2018infilm

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
This movie has the worst marketing team for posters, all of the posters for Fallen Kingdom look like shit. Anyway, since Jurassic World made a ton of money, we have a new... Jurassic Park trilogy... now. So I know that this movie is a direct sequel to Jurassic World, but why does it still have Jurassic World in the title? I get that Universal is revamping this franchise, but is this not the fifth film in the Jurassic Park franchise? Besides my many questions I have, I’m going into this movie with low expectations. Jurassic World was fine, it was pretty much Jurassic Park but with obnoxious characters, but it was still fine. I don’t think it needs a sequel, but there are a few changes I admire. Those annoying brothers are nowhere to be seen in the marketing or casting so thats a huge plus, and I think we’re going to spend more time with Chris Pratt’s character. I can see this movie being either good or bad, I’m just seeing this movie out of curiosity at this point, so let’s see where that gets us.
When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen and Claire mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. They should have called this movie Generic World: Fallen Franchise because boy did this stink. I kind of knew ten minutes into this movie that it’d be bad just from the setup. The setup is that humans can either leave the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar and let them die from a volcanic eruption or save them and bring them to an island sanctuary. Of course this movie takes the save the Dino’s route or else we wouldn’t have a movie. So now our main characters are going to an island with dinosaurs that have caused mass hysteria for over twenty years and a volcanic eruption, everyone in this movie is an idiot. There should have been a real good reason for Chris Pratt to go back on that island, and there really wasn’t. After the first act of this movie, it actually gets worse, since we see less and less Dino’s as the movie goes on. It just got boring by the third act and I was waiting for this movie to be over. Seeing @JurassicWorld: Fallen Kingdom at my local @Regalmovies in @IMAX and @RealD3D. Directed by: @filmBayona. Starring: @PrattPrattPratt, @BryceDHoward, @notDaniellaPineda, #GeraldineChaplin, @standup4justice, #JamesCromwell, @JeffGoldblum and #RafeSpall. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom tells the story of our characters: Claire and Owen, teaming up and heading back to the island of Jurassic World once again, but this time they're trying to save the dinosaurs who are at risk of going extinct due to a volcano eruption on the island. I really enjoyed this film! As a huge Jurassic Park fan, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. One thing I can say right off the bat, though, is that the violence and gore is definitely toned down in this one, but the creepy vibe and atmosphere this film gives off (especially the last 30-45 minutes of the film) and some cool kills totally makes up for it. Now, I'm not saying we don't get any gore, it's just very moderate and subtle, but just as satisfying. Unlike the previous film (which I thought was more of an action/adventure film) this one definitely plays out more like an actual sci-fi/horror thriller with some super intense moments, which I really did enjoy. And let me just say, the dinosaurs in this film look the best they ever have! Absolutely beautiful animation. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard give amazing performances as always. There are some elements of the film that felt un-original or cliche, but you know what, I had so much fun with this one that I really can't complain and that's why I give Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 🌋🌋🌋🌋 erupting volcanoes. Go and see this one 👍 (I also got this cool limited edition digitally interactive @MovieBill exclusive to @Regalmovies for the film. Director: J.A. Bayona
Starring: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard

Genre: Action, adventure, thriller
5-Second Summary: Threatened by the eruption of a volcano, humans must decide whether or not dinosaurs should be saved or go extinct.
Rating: 3.9 out of 5 stars

There is so much relief when a franchise secures a decent director for a sequel. It’s not guaranteed that it will be the greatest movie ever, but it will most likely entertain and it will do so elegantly. And that’s what happened here. Bayona has handled a disaster story before and it’s comforting to know that some of the effects and illusions stem from reality rather than always a computer screen. I’m going to skip over the plot complaints, the stupidity of some of the characters, and Howard’s acting, because you’ll get that from other reviews. This movie is positively thrilling and makes use of well-planned scares that don’t disappoint. Occasionally sentimental, the message is all there. Through the use of shadow and fog, the imagery and desperation of the dinosaurs’ plight jumps out at you as more than just a cheap cliche. I found the references to previous movies (especially the original) to be subtle enough not to warrant any unnecessary jeering—I was smiling. This movie is jam-packed full of dinosaurs, adrenaline-pounding escapes, and mommy issues. Leave it to the children to decide whether or not survival from extinction is better than financial and corporate coexistence.
Shining Star: BLUE! The raptors are my absolute favorite.

Rating: [ PG ] - General Audiences but Parental Guidance is advised
Synopsis: Winner of five Academy Awards (and nominated for ten, including "Best Picture") director David Lean's epic, sweeping romance brings to life Boris Pasternak’s tumultuous tale of Russia divided by war and hearts torn by love. Epic images abound: revolution in the streets, an infantry charge into no-man’s-land, the train ride to the Urals, an icebound dacha. Omar Sharif plays the title role, married to Tonya (Geraldine Chaplin), and Julie Christie is his haunting, long-time love Lara who become caught up in the tidal wave of history as they escape the machinations of a band of selfish and cruel characters: General Strelnikov (Tom Courtenay), a Bolshevik General; Komarovsky (Rod Steiger), Lara's former lover; and Yevgraf (Alec Guinness), Zhivago's sinister half-brother. Hauntingly scored by Maurice Jarre and full of indelible performances, Doctor Zhivago is a movie-making wonder capturing the lushness of Moscow before the war and the social upheaval that followed.
