*Update: Sold* From the Warwick Road vault, this museum piece was found as a relic at the Battle of Waterloo. Locked away at an estate owned by an ancestor who fought in the battle, it's been forgotten ever since. Until now.
Circa late-1700s/early-1800s, this gold locket bears Bonnie Prince Charlie's name below the crown. Inside this gold locket contains what's believed to be a lock of the Young Pretender's hair along with a piece of tartan, and a miniature en grisaille portrait of the good Prince. If you’re an avid Outlander fan, you’re probably more than familiar with Prince Charles Edward Stuart! This is a rather large and heavy locket at 57mm and 26g. This once in a lifetime piece is now listed. Click photo for more info/photos on this museum relic. 👑
