Indarkeria da emakumeen eta gizonen arteko berdintasun ezaren adierazpen larriena. Une honetan lehentasuna erasotutakoek hobera egitea da. Behar-beharrezkoa da gizarte osoaren konpromiso aktiboa indarkeriaren aurka eta berdintasunaren alde. Emakumeen aurkako indarkeriarik ez!
Last week my portrait of MSNBC’s @richardlui was presented to him by the Foundation for Gender Equality along with an award for his work on equality. I was so honored to be there for the reception and meet him. The Foundation for Gender Equality has an inspiring mission to work towards the goal we all have to see a more equal world. Thank you @jillfitzburgh for including me in such a wonderful evening.
This Veteran's Day, let's recognize the women who have dedicated their lives to upholding our American values, starting with Deborah Sampson. Sampson was the first woman to take a bullet for America in the Revolutionary War! Cross-dressing as "Robert Shurtliff", Deborah Sampson fought with the Continental Army, survived multiple sword and gunshot wounds, and received a pension for her service. Let's remember Deborah Sampson today as we honor our veterans and thank her for her service and bravery!
A quote from POWER OF WOMEN: Chapter 3 - Page 37: “Self-respect is key to attaining the recognition you desire. In order for someone to respect/honour you, you need to be worth respect/honour. Therefore, let your life be exemplary and of high standards.” by Nicholas M. Crentsil - Author. [instagram: @mrcrentsilofficial] #womenempowerment#genderequality
