Our resident gaucho. Bruno grew up in the city of Porto Alegre, the last capital from the south of Brazil.
Growing up, Bruno dreamed of becoming a biologist or even following in the footsteps of soccer legends, Pele and Maradona.
Bruno has many varying interests, including
architecture and design. As a qualified architect in Brazil, his passion also extends to photography and drawing. He recently started to practice typography and calligraphy. He enjoys every sphere of art, the way the people create things to express their feelings. Specially music, illustrations and graphic design and of course latte art. He also wanted to be a musician at one point, and was even part of a rock band. Sadly, Bruno lacked ANY musical talent to continue pursuing this career.
When asked what his favourite part of working here is, his response was;
"Customers. My customers are great, they motivate me the come to work every day and give them my best shot of coffee. I've been working in hospitality for about 4 yrs and Industrial Espresso is the best place I've worked so far."
Bruno describes himself as a Piccolo: short, some people don't even know that it exist, but is strong and has the best combination of the ingredients.
His curiousity drives him to explore the world, other people's cultures and history. How people think and react differently. "That`s why I left Brazil 4 years ago and moved to Dublin, Ireland and started to travelling learning a new kinds of jobs.
In Dublin I learnt how to make coffee and become a Barista. After visiting 20 countries, I decided to move to Australia to explore that side of the Globe.
And I don't wanna stop exploring, watching and learning until the very last day of my life." I asked Bruno who his favourite person in the whole wide world was, his eyes lit up subtly showing a hint of emotion, "My Grandfather Carlos, he is the best person that I've met in this life". Thanks for sharing your story, Bruno.
We are so grateful for the pleasure.
