I said it in the last video stability is one of the most important things when it comes to how confident you are in your movement. To build on top of that confidence I had to put myself in some uncomfortable situations to establish a feeling of smooth mobility in any direction (stair master). Your body can move explosively and effortlessly 360 if you put it in the proper position to do so with the knowledge or confidence in how stable you will be in each transition (jump rope).
Just like in life confidence in your foundation of why you do what you do is everything. Without it you won’t take the necessary leaps of faith needed to propel you toward and into your purpose.
I’m not saying don’t lift weights I think this fitness hype that everyone is on is great BUT if you aren’t able to move as fluidly as you should stop building and check your foundation. Where are you weak @ and why? Lower back? feet? ankles? knees? hips? These are all things you should make sure function properly before you decide to build muscles on top of them. Stiff/tight joints and or muscles are a terrible foundation to achieve your physical goals and eventually you’ll just set yourself back with an injury because of a crappy base that you were to lazy to pay attention to that finally broke down on you. All those hours in the gym for nothing cause now you have a 9 month rehab process just to get back to normal. Trust me I’ve been on that surgery table not once but TWICE!
Take the time to #rotatetires #changetheoil #gasup and you’ll function at a higher capacity. Simple as that.
