Bought this one yesterday on the PSN store. It's been a while since I've played a wrestling game. I think the last ones I played were during the N64 era when I was a huge wrestling fan back then. Since then I haven't watched much of it, but I'll admit with the talented Technical wrestling I've seen recently and with a great roster of excellent wrestlers that love I felt years ago is slowly getting re-ignited. So how is this game? To be honest, it's a bit messy, the movement feels almost robotic, reversals are very difficult to get a handle of, and opponents seem to reverse my moves more often than I'd like. There is also lot of bugs. I played a ladder match and at one point my opponent just stood right next to the ladder doing nothing while I just went up and grabbed the belt. The entrances leave a lot to be desired, and the career mode just felt flat. The good news though is that once you get accustomed to the awkward controls, this game just feels like a lot of fun. There are plenty of modes to keep you busy, and online play worked well enough. Overall, I do like this one quite a lot and it'll be nice to really explore and see all that it has to offer in the coming days.
