Hey guys.. I never rant on my posts but I feel like I need to say something! What I'm about to say is quite personal but I'm sure many of you can relate. It's so hard to feel comfortable in your own skin and I've grown up my whole life insecure about spots and pimples and not feeling good enough. It came to a point that I was so insecure I didn't want to leave my house because I felt super ugly. Later on in life I started using foundation to cover up my spots because it made me feel better about myself. The worlds made it so you're only good enough if you look like a model with a great body and clear skin and it's not ok at all. What frustrates me is when people have the audacity to say 'you look better naturally' - I get everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I feel like makeup (in my eyes) is sort of a shield against today's shitty society and standards. And people are killing themselves because they don't feel good enough. So to all the people who make fun of girls/guys who wear makeup, think before you talk because you don't know how much you're affecting someone.
