These are freaking awesome! Enhanced eccentric hip thrusts. Karen @kaginaz lifts 135 lbs on the way up and then lowers around 235 lbs on the way down (I estimate that I manually provide 100 lbs of extra resistance during the negative phase). Many people do not realize that eccentrics are arguably better suited for building muscle than concentrics and fail to pay mindfulness to the lowering portion of the movement.
She did 10 reps followed by a 10 second isohold at the top. If you’re a personal trainer or strength coach or if you train with a partner, I highly recommend working these into your regimen from time to time.

Para aqueles alunos que treinam duro, durante todos os dias, meses, anos sem mimimi, segue umas dicas para gerar uma hipertrofia mais rápida.

1 – Na dúvida, coma. Pesquisas suportam que não é necessário ter uma dieta 100% limpa para gerar hipertrofia, o que importa no final é a ingestão de calorias e macronutrientes. Nunca perca refeições e passe fome só por não ter uma opção saudável ao alcance. Na dúvida… coma.

2 – Não mude o treino toda hora. Não use a variedade às custas da consistência, só mude de treino após estagnar e não conseguir aumentar as cargas.

3 – Use creatina. Se existe um suplemento barato e que realmente funciona, é a creatina.

4 – Esqueça a definição. Você não vai conseguir ganhar massa muscular da maneira mais rápida mantendo a definição atual. Um pequeno ganho de gordura é normal e esperado.

5 – Faça exercícios compostos primeiro. São os exercícios compostos que irão gerar a maior parte dos ganhos e portanto devem ser realizados primeiro no treino enquanto os seus níveis de energia ainda estão altos.

6 – Deixe o ego em casa. Não sacrifique a qualidade do seu treino pelo ego, se for preciso aumentar apenas 1kg de cada lado no supino para bater o treino da semana passada, que assim seja.

7 – Treine abdômen com pesos. Usar milhares de repetições para o abdômen só serve para aumentar a resistência.

8 – Faça uma semana de de-load. Após meses treinando no limite, uma semana treinando leve(de-load) é bem vinda para a recuperação dos tendões, ligamentos, músculos e sistema nervoso central.

9 – Planeje os treinos. Vá para a academia com um plano em mãos e execute-o.

10 – Overtraining é a sua última preocupação. Entrar em overtraining não acontece da noite para o dia ou se “pega” como se fosse um resfriado. Evite diminuir o ritmo de treino ou faltar por causa de neuroses e suspeitas a respeito do overtraining, pois ele é a sua última preocupação.
