Hickory tussock moth caterpillar. They look fabulous and fluffy. But do not touch! The hairs break off and cause an awful itching, burning rash. Willow knows not to touch caterpillars unless it's a wooly bear, which she can easily identify, or if I give her permission. That's her little voice in the background. We love exploring the yard and finding creatures. She was holding a tiny little wood louse, aka pill bug, earlier. At the moment, she's digging for worms. I love this kid!
