Truth be told, but this has to stop. Witch hunting Kero supporters won’t help alleviate the drama, instead its just fueling the drama’s flame. •
What is “witch hunting”?
Witch hunting, in this context, doesn’t mean you’re hunting for witches. The phrase means that you or others are tracking down a(n) individual or group of individuals, and then harassing them with hateful comments, “logic”, and sometimes death threats. •
Witch Hunting’s Role In The Kero Controversy
The furry community is very notorious for witch hunting people who agree or disagree with a matter, especially when the @kero_the_wolf controversy arose and shattered the bonds between between us. Now there are two major groups that have been divided over Kero, via hashtags, #keroisoverparty and #keroisinnocent. The second hashtag’s post is highly targeted by furries/non-furries who don’t support him and they repeatedly harass a Kero supporter, and they try to turn them over to the other side, by shouting facts and evidence of Kero’s behavior. On some occasion, they would go as far as witch hunting Kero’s second fursuit maker, telling her that she shouldn’t have made Kero that fursuit he has today. (not going to name the fursuit maker for the sake of privacy)
If you support Kero, then you do you, believe what you want to believe in. If you don’t, that’s fine. I don’t support him either, but I’m willing to listen to both sides of the matter.
