It took 45 years for me to take fitness and health seriously. It was tough starting out, but I stuck with it. I surrounded myself with people who pushed me past limits I did not want to face. But more importantly, showed me that wanting to push myself past limits was a choice. I'm not the strongest, fastest, or the most perfectly chiseled. But I am stronger, faster, and more comfortable with how I feel and look than I ever have been. I'm an athlete. I am also relentless. I want challenge. I want to be uncomfortable. I will not apologize for going too fast during the warm-up, or starting the round early. I will not apologize for enjoying burpees or sled pushes. I will not apologize for trying to be an overachiever. I will fall, but I'll get back up. I will get angry at myself, but I'll get over it. I will get scratched and bumped, but I'll walk it off. This is who I am now. Dig deep. Find your fight, then fight like hell. No apologies!
