I know I could relate with my fellow consultant and friend, Brenda Lopez bc I too was about to get my real estate license. I'm glad I kept my options open bc this business has been a huge blessing 💕 "Right before I became a consultant I was getting licensed to be a Real Estate Agent. I had to pay $1400 to get a license with ZERO guarantee I was going to make any money. I'd have to attend classes then pass a test to qualify 😬. I’d have to hunt for an office to work at that WOULDN’T pay me. In fact I would pay THEM….. HALF of EVERYTHING I made!
My hope was for it to be be part time but I knew if I wanted to be successful I would have to make some serious sacrifices in the beginning. I’d need to work weekends, late nights, early mornings, the biggest sacrifice would be time away from my family. I'd have to chauffeur people around from place to place in my car, putting milage on my lease, covering the cost of gas AND keeping it clean… the struggle is REAL with kids 😂... with no guarantee they'd be interested in what I was showing them. Maybe I’d have a return customer…. MAYBE?! If we traveled for long periods of time (like we will be this summer) I’d be forced to give up my clients that I could have been working with MONTHS and when I got back I’d have to build up that entire business again. EXHAUSTING!! Sounds CRAZY right?
So what does my life look like now as a consultant? I have great skin, became my own boss, keep my commissions, work from home, in my car at pickup, during nap times, in the morning while I’m drinking my coffee, at night while I’m soaking in the bath… you get the point . When we leave for our trip I’ll take all of my clients with me and the best part is... I sell a consumable product with a 90% return customer rate and they all have accounts that they manage themselves. BOOM
I still chauffeur people around but they’re my kids and we’re going to the park."
