The new food pyramid is out, ok maybe just mine.
First it starts with foods you actually enjoy eating otherwise, it's no fun or sustainable.
Next, calories are king when it comes to weightloss. Hit your goal for the day with foods you like and things are looking pretty good.
Lean proteins are the third priority here. Get enough protein with every meal and your body will start to build the lean muscle that burns through calories all day and all night speeding up your metabolism.
Next carbs. Delicious carbs. First source of energy to kick your workout's a$$ every day. The better your workout the better you feel and the faster you see results. Mmmmm carbs.
Last of the macros is fats, avocados 🥑are my favorite. Your body needs fats to run properly and just FYI fats don't make you fat. Being over your Total calories at the end of the day do RIGHT??? Finally...TACOS because TACOS. 🌮😍 Along the entire side of this pyramid is consistency. Weightloss takes time. There will be ups and downs. Fast periods and slow periods. If you're in it for the long run you'll get there for sure. If you stop after a few weeks because you hit a slow period well, you won't. That simple.
