After months planning my trip to Japan and 30+ hours of travel, I made it to Mount Fuji 5th Station. A dream come true. I look up in search for the peak, and all I can see is the thick fog covering the mountain. Zero visibility. I could've felt disappointment, but instead I decided to make the best out of it and wandered around the station enjoying the cold-foggy weather. There was so much beauty around, like this Torii gate, a reminder that where the mundane ends, the divine begins. Don't be disappointed if you couldn't see the Solar Eclipse today, or if it wasn't everything you'd hoped for. It was special in its own way, even if unseen. . . .
