Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
I didn't. 😊 I've never had much interest in running my own business or selling stuff or any of the other core qualities we think entrepreneurs have. I just fell into this gig because I was pregnant and we lived in Mozambique and I felt like I wouldn't be able to find a "real" job given the circumstances. [Who's going to hire a preggo lady who doesn't speak the language and will have to go back to the U.S. in 8 months to give birth?] Anyway, entrepreneurship was my last resort. 😂
But here I am... 2 years in, running a profitable online business and [mostly] loving it.
“change is not a matter of ability but a matter of motivation.” . .
almost everyone says they don’t exercise daily because they don’t have time or motivation yet we create the time and motivation for the things we want or have to do. . . the average American spends TEN HOURS DAILY in front of a screen!!!!! TEN HOURS! Yet, we don’t have “time” to take 20 minutes out of our day to do a workout. . . working out & eating healthy is a lot of self-disciple for sure but lack of time shouldn’t be an excuse. . . find the motivation deep inside of you to get started and keep the ball a rolling daily.
I am guilty of being my worst critic, at times I can be a perfectionist to a fault. That's why I remind myself, as we all should, to allow grace in our lives. This is something I am working on now, having everything perfect in the baby's room vs. allowing myself grace that everything doesn't have to run on my time. #godstimingisperfect
