7 weeks separate these photos (and a spray tan).
I was having 2700 cals a day after a 4 month proper "bulk". With coach @gobeyonddave I went on a meal plan for 7 weeks and added in 3 extra cardio sessions a week, although I carb cycled my average intake over the 7 weeks was maybe 2000 cals in the end, but I had a high day once a week with over 300g carbs and 2500cals ish... BEST IDEA EVER 😝😝
At the beginning the diet change was honestly really hard, your body adapts majorly to the intake you supply it with, I relate far more to the struggle in weight loss now, but after a few weeks it adapts better to lower intakes too! The hardest days were rest days, carbs were low and intake was around 1800, nearly killed my inner piggies. 🐷
I was very active in work, so I actually lost a little more than I wanted. Currently about 2kg heavier than my last cut, so little gains were made 😉 NOW HOW TO REVERSE? After the comp in October I reverse dieted carefully, it's all been such an educating experience, I have to do something myself before I can help someone else do the same. I don't plan on reversing "properly" at the minute to be honest, it was only 7 weeks. .
I'm taking this week TOTALLY OFF. I won't go off the band wagon but I won't really track any foods, I'm having treats, drinks, will most likely overeat a little, but train a bit, and next week just keep an eye on things a little for 2/3 weeks. Then it's all about slow gains, business plans and living life this summer 😉 WHOS WITH MEEEEEEE. ❤
It's great to know that if there is an upcoming event you want to "lean out" for, it's possible, it will take commitment but it can be done 😘 But let's be REAL, the food prep, cardio, training and whatnot for such mini cuts won't be sustainable FOREVER, so ensure you choose that end date and prepare for a slight gain again after if you take on a mini challenge 💗
So, still little Nat underneath the fluffly feels I had at week 1, time to "blossom". I.e. MAKE GAINS. DONUT GAINS. WUT. 😉💗 .
