Close grip I started the third rep way too far back (sort of hard to see in this angle) so had to redo. Fucked up DB press, was supposed to do another rep before the bottom stretch.

Damnnn Peggy.. from 15% body fat to 9% with almost 14 lbs of added muscle.. Man I didn't realize how bad I let myself get off track after taking time off for surgery. Motivation isn’t always there, sometimes you just don’t wanna get up and go to the gym. Everyday isn’t the “best workout ever”. What keeps me going to the gym and eating right is habits and consistency. Making the gym and eating healthy a daily habit is the only way we will stick to our goals.

If you think about it, daily habits run our whole life. Probably 99% of us, wake up at the same time every day, and have the same morning routine. This isn’t because of motivation, these are habits we form. Making fitness a habit is key.

Last night, Rene and I did NOT wanna go to the gym, it was late, we were tired, the basketball game was on. The list is endless. But the gym is part of our routine, it’s a habit. Not a chore or something we dread.

The next time you don’t feel “motivated” think back to fitness as a habit and not a chore that has to get done. This is a lifestyle fam.
