Aaron Paul has been the star bowler in the CSL Eastern Premiership to date this season – and the South African & Futura Sports Agency teenager is keen to help Falkland secure their first league win soon.
The 19-year-old has already taken 17 league wickets since arriving at the Fife club back in April and has caused numerous batsmen issues.
However, the right arm seamer’s good form has not been able to help Falkland get a victory as yet and heading into today’s week nine fixtures they are sitting bottom of the table.
This afternoon they host seventh placed Watsonians at Scroggie Park and Paul said: “I played in England when I came over with Paddy Steytler, my Agent at #FSA for part of last season and was keen to play abroad again this summer and get used to different conditions. “When the chance came up to come to Scotland I was very keen and I have been made to feel very welcome by the guys at Falkland. “I have enjoyed the challenge of bowling against Scotland internationalists and have been pleased with how my bowling is going, but I really am now focused on helping us get a win. “We have quite a young team, but the guys are learning all the time and we are determined."
