Finally!!!!!! After years and years, of off and on practice I am finally able to do my front splits!!! Its been a few weeks since I've been to the studio but a few stretches, sweat and tons of "Shit man!!" It's here!!! Sidenote: I know my hips are open and my torso is turned too foward. I have hyperextensive joints all over which means I'm entirely flexible and my joints easily pop out of place and pushed in just as easily. It's not that typical yoga stretches DON'T have their place in a routine. They absolutely DO. However, for stiff, dense, tight people...they need a little more.
If I had never discovered ballistic stretching, targeted tissue work, loaded stretching and more - I'm certain I'd never achieve the splits.

What was missing? End range strength + “nudging” my range farther and farther with Ballistics.
