Gonna make a controversial post as far as what people think about making gains. I used to believe the usual about gaining x amount of muscle in x amount of time, or you can only gain so much in your first couple years, whatever. I stopped putting limits on myself and focused on the journey and trained my ass off so far. I'd say I've put on more muscle in the past year than any time in my life. You've gotta really ask yourself: How hard are you really working?? Are your sets leaving you in puddles of sweat and shaking, or are you distracted? I'm not gonna settle for anything less than being a dark horse in my show next year. I don't know if I have what it takes for classic physique, but I'm sure as hell gonna find out. Find what drives you and use it. I'm gonna use it to become something great. Don't let fear decide your steps in life for you. Stop believing that you can gain only so much muscle or lose so much fat. Don't major in the minors, just bust your ass. Sitting at 175 at 5' 5" and gonna continue to carve out something incredible, hopefully classic.
