FUN FACT 1: I have no white backgrounds in my house. But I love when other people use white backgrounds. So it took me a while but I remembered that I have this dress so yay! (I realise how weirdly I used the word "backgrounds" here. I mean like walls and tables and stuff. FUN FACT TWO: I laughed so much while reading this book that my family thought I was crazy. FACT 3: I have no idea why I'm not watching the latest season of her show? FUN FACT Four: this is The One with Lots of Laughs for #friendsforlife17 ••• Fact 5: I can never tell how bad the quality of my photos are cos my screen's permanently covered in finger prints or something😵
Love seeing CURIO in this perfect spring post! #Repost@vjoypalmer_author with @repostapp ・・・ I'm pretty fond of the color green. 💚 And green books remind me of spring, which I am BEYOND ready to experience after the snowy winter. 😉 . The One with Green Books - #FriendsForLife17

Pink books! I included my pink elephant 🐘💕 Fangirl is one of my favorites and I love this beautiful pink edition! Eight Hundred Grapes is one of my top 5 favorite books ever. Broken Hearts, Fences to Mend is such a great summer read, and it is a triology. Magic Hour is one of Kristin Hannah's books that I have not read yet. #friendsforlife17#pink#pinkbooks#pinkelephant#bookstack
I recreated and updated my original DNF (Did Not Finish) stack. It appears to have grown. 😳 I know a lot of these are good books and I'll get around to them someday. I got rid of The English Patient and Widow of the South which were in my first DNF stack a year or so ago. And I read Redeeming Love and Walking Disaster which were in the original stack as well. And, shock of all shocks, no, I have not finished Pride and Prejudice. 😱 That doesn't change the fact that I absolutely love it and will continue to collect alllll the editions. • We were on a break! • Day 5 #friendsforlife17 • Book spine • Day 5 #dreambunnybookishapril

If you had to choose between a gorgeous front cover and a beautiful spine, which would you pick? Of course, I love a nice cover, but there's something to be said for a row of lovely spines lined up on a shelf. Today's #circleofbookishfriends prompt is "Spines" and instead of the usual naked hardcovers, I've gone with some of my favorite YA spines, beautiful in their simplicity. #friendsforlife17 ~ The One With Funkos

I managed to read a lot of books this month, 6 is like a record for me. After I finished ACOMAF I wanted some short/easy books, not too deep/intense, until ACOWAR is released. So I decided to read the elite and ended up fly through it and the rest of the series. While they are a bit cheesy/cliche I still really enjoyed them, such a cute and quick read. Day 30: April wrap up
I heard Allen Arnold speak at #ACFW2016, and it changed my life. You can have a wound, know you have a bleeding wound, and still be ignoring that gushing wound. God touched my heart, and He and I confronted that wound. . All that to say, you MUST read this book. 💜 I can't recommend it enough! It is like a continuation of that life changing day.
How many books did you end up reading in April? Would you rate any of them with five stars? I managed to get through six books, which is slightly more than normal for me I think, and most of them turned out to be really good.
I took this photo about a week ago when I had only read four of the books so I put in the remaining two with the expectation to finish them as well. I did finish two more books, but not the two pictured here 🙈 So without further ado, my April reads and how I rate them: 📗 Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery (reread) - 5+/5 📗 Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman - 4.5/5 📗 Island of a Thousand Mirrors by Naomi Munaweera - 4.5/5 📗 At Bertram's Hotel by Agatha Christie - 3/5 📗 Hag-seed by Margaret Atwood - 3/5 📗 A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas - 5/5
Last day of #friendsforlife17#aprilwrapup Didn't read anything amazing. I thought I would have read more of my #tbr but I guess I watched a lot of Doctor Who & Grey's Anatomy. 😊 I've got 6 big books lined up for May (my remaining TBR from April) but first I'm reading Lord of the Flies.
