Not a bikini picture for once!!!???
I did go to the pool this morning though but now I'm doing some shopping and I'm feeling pretty damn good today!!!
It definitely surprised me the amount of people who related to my feelings yesterday.
So just a little reminder in case you're feeling like a not so fabulous nugget today:
- How you're feeling right now is TEMPORARY. You could be only one sleep away from the best day of my life.
- You need to eat. Yes, I know it's hard when you're not feeling good about yourself but you do. You need to eat REGARDLESS. - Having abs is NOT WORTH missing out on your life for.
- Social media is a HIGHLIGHT REEL. This is a pose. I don't walk around like this. Our bodies aren't made of steel. They fold and squish and THATS NORMAL.
- When you're 80 years old I promise you won't want your only memories to be your damn body fat percentage.
- Fitness can be part of your life but it doesn't need to be your WHOLE life.
- Even if you don't believe it in this moment, I promise you that YOU ARE ALWAYS A FABULOUS NUGGET. No matter what.

When I was in fourth grade, my sports teacher used to tell us that we should keep jogging even after we cross the finish line of a race. With my athletic ability, I was lucky to reach the finish line - let alone go beyond it! However if you watch the Olympics, you'll see sprinters continue running even after they cross the finish line. This concept of continuing beyond the finish line is what has stuck with me in other (non-sports related!) areas of my life. It matters more what you do AFTER the event than the outcome of the event itself. Life is one long continuous race and is full of metaphorical hurdles. Being O.K. with who you are as a person and staying motivated is what will keep you on a meaningful and goal-directed path. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
