I made a pot of black-eye peas cook-up rice today with a side of fried king fish and pickled cucumbers. And not forgetting that spoonful of mango achar. I never make this the same each time. Whatever's in the fridge gets thrown in the pot! Recipe is on my blog already.
Throwback to this spectacular fried fish Miel had in Jinan, China. The whole fish was fried so the skin was crispy but the inside was SO soft and tender. The sauce was sweet and sour and added great flavour for the light-tasting fish. I want to eat this right now 😍😍
