Most of my life I struggled with my identity. I believed every lie of the enemy which would make me go crazy... literally! I didn’t know who I was, and I went in every which direction. I thought because I wasn’t perfect, I could never commit to Christ. That was a lie.
I learned that I did not know my identity because I never fully knew God. I’m finding that the more I spend time with my Father, the more I discover who I am. He is love, so I should carry that same love. Through Him, I can be at peace and have rest because He is peace & gives rest.
The Bible clearly says in Romans, “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Isn’t that amazing that seriously nothing in this world could ever separate us from God’s love?! You don’t have to be perfect, and you are going to mess up! Yet, He still wants and chooses you.
Keep leaning into Him day after day. He truly is the only one who will be able to bring you clarity when confusion starts to rise. Everyday I am reminded of who I am through Him. I am His daughter, and he loves me more than anything. 💛
