Ever since Venus moved into my native sign of Scorpio, I have been trying to do ritual around the themes of self-love, love of others, glamour magick, beauty, and self-care. I have also been dropping down into more sensual, sacral themed yoga and movement.
Today I sat in prayer and asked for guidance and support. I made an offering to the Goddesses of Love with dried rose petals and parsley (sacred to the love goddesses and to Venus), in addition to offering the dedication I have had of walking the path of Goddess. There, in front of my altar, I sat as real, raw, and vulnerable as I could.
I asked to be activated as Venus transits Scorpio, to be embodied and filled with the Light that is coming through during this time. I also asked to navigate the Darkness when the retrograde period comes so that I may find healing and learn from my own Shadows.
To be of service to the Goddess is to walk with the Goddess, as the Goddess manifested. Her many facets are archetypes that fill our own psyches. To know Her, to understand Her, is to know ourselves. Through service to Her, we ultimately bring healing to our own lives. The Goddess holds both the Light and the Shadows. She embodies all facets of the spectrum. No good or evil, no right or wrong; just learning and growing.
Do you have Venus in Scorpio? Where in your chart is the Goddess of Love bringing growth and lessons to you? How have you been embodying your own beauty, love, sensuality, and self-care? Please share. I would love to hear!
I am contemplating doing either a live or a video on the Venus Retrograde with ritual, prompts, and guidance. How many of you would be interested? Let me know!
