Lovin’ these flowers. Nice fit for the deck. Perfect opportunity for pretty pics.
Second, how does this picture make you feel? Think about it.
Do you think who I am on social media is any different than in person?
Is this fake? Am I over glorifying my flowers? Adding filters to make it better? Something that it is not. Is this depressing because it makes your life seem less colorful?
Here’s my answer.
You are the user of social media. Don’t want so much negativity? You search for the positive. When that’s not doin’ it for you, you title it as fake, not all that glitters is gold. The grass is greener on the other side, and now you’re sad.
Real life is no different. Stop blaming outside sources due to YOUR perception.
There are flashy, fake people IN REAL LIFE TOO. All that negative shit is in real life. Social events are no different. While social media shouldn’t be taken so seriously, I believe it’s important to take a step back and realize it’s all the damn same. And it’s your choice how to react. If you are depressed over someone else’s high light reel, maybe you should improve your “behind the scenes” okay?
So sick of hearing this shit.
If social media is causing a pandemic for you, go back to being jealous of your damn neighbors or rolling your eyes at a social function.
And for the record, I enjoy creativity. I enjoy setting a mood with my photos and edits. And if you think negatively of that, screw you.
This is only part of the problem. 🤦🏻♀️🙌🏼🖕🏼🤙🏼🧠🌸🌺🌿🌱
