🇫🇷 Car issues🏎: .
.
After months of looking and 2 years of thinking about it, i finally got myself my 1st car ( swipe left to see it). .
.
It's 2nd hand yes but still my 1st car. Things didnt go as smooth as i imagined. Bought the car and discovered some issues so it will be sent to garage. The irony. A car to make my life easier but now one more thing to maintain n bother about :)) .
.
The car is almost 18 years and in good condition. No air con but where we staying its fine. Although this weekends was little warm ( 26 to 30 degrees) and i almost swore that i should have aircon in my car but i know such heat wont last either. There's of course heater. The car is auto and not manual. Cos i suck at driving and though i can drive manual ( my driving test 10 yrs ago was manual cars), i prefer auto as theres less things to manage plus Im already driving on the other side of road vs Singapore. .
.
In Singapore, cars are as expensive as a little apartment. People change their cars at maximum every 5 years. Cars dont last more than 10 yrs, they are scrapped. Theres always aircon, no aircon is unheard of. Ive never checked if theres heater haha. We seldom have manual cars, most are auto. Cars cost a leg or arm so we dont like to drive very close to each other and find it really rude. But of course in France in small village or city roads we drive very close to each other n sometimes that sends me into a panic. Well actually many things while driving sends me into some frenzy panic. Also in Sg, we don't need a car. Public transport, taxis are abundant. So we could get by without ever owning a car. But in France especially not in big cities, its alittle tough. I cant possibly taxi all the time here ( i dont. Its expensive) and the weather piece really makes me not want head out at all. Plus i do want to go countryside whenever i want ( friends stay there, farms etc). So yeah. .
.
So i await for my car to join me in Le Havre for good ( hopefully) and cant wait for my new mobile life full of freedom to go wherever i want n whenever i want. .

I hope someone knows the answer to this burning questions I’ve had for a while: If every rapper became farmers, who would have the freshest beets?

This lovely man Micheal has been helping us everyday with work. He is fighting fit at 65 and always comes to work smelling like a lavender field dressed in a immaculately clean boiler suit and always wears his French beret no matter the weather 🇫🇷
