Part of the delight of older buildings is the decorations and personality that they have. This lady was part of the fire place at the Paulsen Penthouse and caught my eye for obvious reasons. Next is a carved detail in a wood banister down in the lobby followed by an abstracted flower design that was in some decorative metal work also down in the lobby. The Paulsen Building's Lobby is open to the public so stop in if you get a chance and check out the painted ceiling and the many decorative elements. The designer was definitely not a minimalist!
