I know I write a lot about self-care and yup, that’s what my fourth book, RECHARGE, is all about: SELF CARE.
And here on all of our social platforms, there are wonderful posts about #selfcaresunday and #motivationmonday but I’ve got to be honest with you for me, having 4 kids, it’s very hard to make Sunday all about Self Care and being even more honest, getting the kids all off to school on Monday and everything else that goes along with Mondays, I find it near impossible to motivate myself despite all the amazing motivation out there. I just think, crickey, I just need to get through Monday - all the kids paperwork, filling out forms, making kids appts., teaching yoga, working - it’s like once I get through the weekend with kids and then Monday - catching up on various kids stuff for schools and my own stuff - I finally feel like I can breath a bit more only starting on Tuesday!!! So, I’ve done something a bit maybe out of the norm outrageous here - I thought from today, Tuesday (the day I feel I actually start to breath) I’d share with you how I Tackle Tuesday or find Freedom in Fridays or Survive Sundays! AND I’d love you to do the same! Share with me, with your followers, photos, tips on what you do:
How do you Tackle Tuesday? Or how do you Worry less on Wednesday or how do you Selfishly indulge on Saturday!?! I’d love you to TAG someone who wants to follow along too and if you post anything related to these days be sure to use the corresponding hashtags above so I can follow along too!
Right, so first up: #tacklingtuesday - This morning, my train was cancelled completely, I had to take 3 different to get home. At first I thought NIGHTMARE, but then I sat on the train and wrote and answered these questions:
What is my purpose for being alive, right here, right now?
What are my passions in life?
What do I do that helps others?
What traits are unique to me?
Where in my life do I feel balanced?
And answering these questions made me feel good, as if I could tackle the world, or at least today! xxJulie💛
