The word "yoga" means "to link up" or "connect", and the nature of that connection is what we learn through the deeper yoga practices, especially through meditation. We are infinite, eternal beings in a finite, temporary body and world, looking for fulfillment, purpose, and permanence. Yoga meditation is the heart of yoga and allows us to experience this connection right here, right now, while we are in this temporary body and temporary world. Through the practice of yoga meditation, we can live in this world untouched by anxiety and all the changes around us. No matter what age your body is, you can learn how to do this!
