We found you in the middle of the road in the middle of the woods. Or maybe you found us in the middle of the woods in the middle of the road in the middle of the chaos trying to find the right way home. Don’t know. But what I do know is for nearly 7 weeks you two were all the love, chaos, snuggle, sleepless nights, maddening to madly cute the two of us could handle. You were immediately loved by everyone who took care of you during our schedules, and you loved us immediately after we came home from those crazy schedules like time never passed. Harley, you were a survivor from day one and your transformation after surgery never transformed your demeanor as the sweet little pup that could. You were my miracle boy boy. Corndog, you were my wild child with both personality and a pooper that could outrun the law. That little mascara eyelid smile and those puppy winks saved you in those BIG messy moments.
I am SO happy to say they found their fur-ever homes, though it wasn’t ours. Crazy, it’s so bittersweet. #fosterpuppy parenting is not easy, but I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have been able to give you both the lives you deserve. So as you run around in your big yard and lick the faces of your new fur Mama and Papa, I hope you never forget that day, in the middle of the road in the middle of the woods, you found yourselves furever in the middle of our hearts.
#puppylove #thankyou to everyone who helped us save these babies through @gofundme to assist the cost of surgeries. Happy to say, they were adopted together :)
