We are so quick to judge.
The moment we see someone who doesn't look like us, we hold a grudge and don't dare budge.
If they don't have the same color skin, we throw a riot and by golly, we better win.
The status quo says that those with blue hair and piercings aren't cool, and for me to be seen with them, that would make me a fool.
Society says that if you don't "act like this", "dress like this", put your "makeup on like this", or have your "eyebrows on fleek like this", then any chance of beauty or significance, you have missed.
We have this mentality that if you don't look like me, believe what I believe, talk how I talk or walk how I walk, then I have the right to mock.... But Jesus loves the little children. All the little children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are SO precious in His sight. For He loves the little children of the world.
Jesus is so quick to love! The moment He sees you He declares that you are more than enough!
The color of His skin is the color of love and that is why He bore all of our sins on the cross.
The status quo of Jesus says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, as He loves the color of your hair, no matter what the shade, because when He sees you, He sees your heart, and His unfailing love for you is never gonna change!
The Bible has many beautiful truths written in it, but the greatest of these to love...isn't it?:)
Instead of judging a book by its cover, why don't we try looking in it, because each and every heart, God Himself purposefully knit!
As children of God we are called to bring sight to the blind, but how can we do that when we can't even see through the eyes of what is patient and what is kind?
God has called us to let our lights so shine and it is time to walk in it. What if we chose to love how Jesus did?...man that would be SO legit!
But how do we do it? How about sharing a smile with someone who you know their joy is fading, of let encouragement be in the words that you are saying. How about intentionally having a listening ear, or being the one to wipe away someone's tear....
I love because Jesus first loved me:)💛 #missbhs2017 #forGodsglory #loveneverfails
