So I had a brief conversation with my friend @jennyg72 the other day about our common love of sea-shelling. It got me to thinking about the ones I found. Broken ones. Complete ones. Ones similar. Ones so different. All so beautiful. Despite wherever they have been. So many found as they were washed up at the shore. Some kept. Some tossed aside.. I'm so grateful that when I am feeling washed up, quite broken, and even in the moments I feel beautiful and wonderful, the Lord loves me and doesn't toss me aside. He has called me His and holds me in the palm of His hands.
And it's an incredible thing to me to feel the sand beneath my toes, knowing that the Lord knows at any moment in time how many grains of sand there are. Not just on this beach. But on any beach, and every beach. (And even in the floorboard of my car after trying to vacuum it all out.) What a mighty mighty God He is!! 💙
