Can you make this? - amuse bouche part 2 at Alo. The 'radish' I honestly wasn't too fond of. V and @raycstyle were chewing on their bite already as I was still struggling to bite it off the stem and they think I got too much stem because it tasted rather bitter to me. They seemed to have eaten it properly and raved about its buttery coating, which sadly, didn't come through in my bite. But that gougere, omgoodness, THAT GOUGERE - I could've eaten a dozen of it. It was so warm and toasty and crispy and melty and flavourful. It was an absolutely perfect bite. V and @raycstyle asked if I could make it. I'd never be able to replicate that blissful bite, but I'm sure I'll be in the test kitchen soon making my own version of it. 😋 At this point in the meal, which was literally the beginning, I was already blown away by the attention to detail that was put into every bite.
