В последнее время нещадно хочется готовить торты, видимо, погода способствует!
Кексы уже не так интересно, хотя не менее вкусно😄
Начала я свой осенний тортовый путь с легендарного "Эстерхази", который я долго обходила стороной и в итоге сделала не классический, а муссовый, по рецепту Ильзиры @ilzi_ 😘
Торт получился невероятно нежным, лёгким и воздушным, а вот с разводами, по которым можно узнать этот десерт, не сложилось😂 Шоколад быстро застыл, собака. Слава иичкам на вкусе это не сказалось👌

@reverse.sear filet with creamy mushroom/bourbon sauce. Filet is one of my least favorite cuts.... unless it’s rare . Reverse searing keeps it tender and juicy. Seasoned with @sperrysbellemeade seasoning - baked 250°F for 25 minutes then finished in a hot cast iron pan to 130°F finished temp. Wonderful 🥃

A lot of requests for this recipe so, here ya’ll go:

10 oz rough chopped baby portobello
1 medium sweet onion sliced
1 clove garlic minced
2 Tbs butter (or bacon drippings... I was out of butter lol)
3/4 c water
Salt/pepper to taste
2 tsp grainy mustard
3 Tbs of bourbon - to taste
Heavy cream as needed
Heat bacon drippings in med high hot pan. (Or butter) sauté onions, mushrooms, and garlic until tender. Add water, bourbon, and mustard - simmer two minutes to reduce. Turn to low heat while meat cooks and thicken with a little cream, to taste. Season with salt and pepper as needed. Would be good on pork and chicken too, I imagine 😏

Today my daughter turns 17. For 17 years and 8 months I have loved her unconditionally. One of the forms in which I show her my love is cooking for her. She really liked this veggie platter!
Ingredients: boiled corn, roasted eggplant, zucchini and potatoes, red bell pepper, onions, tomatoes, cucumber, nuts, almonds, olive oil, salt, pepper, seasoning herbs and lemon zest.
The time to prepare is 30-45 min for the roasted veggies+corn, and then under 5 minutes for cutting the raw vegetables and plating. The yield is 2 servings.
Boil the corn covered with leaves. Roast veggies in the oven, on parchment paper. Then slice, cut, dice and plate the beautiful ingredients as you wish. Add nuts, almonds, seeds, lemon zest, oil, salt and herbs at the end. Eat with a spoon and enjoy every bite mindfully. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
