Tuesdays are for family dinners😄 Tried out the newly opened @mille_on_Beaufort 🍴🍴 We ordered the 🍞garlic bread with shaved parmesan, 🍅grilled halloumi crostini with salsa and fresh herbs, 🍘arancini with roast pumpkin feta and roast garlic aioli, 🍟sweet potato chips and 🐟 kingfish ceviche with peach, cucumber, chive creme fraiche and blackberry reduction for entrees. Then for main we had the 🐏 garlic and rosemary lamb backstrap, 🍝blue swimmer crab and tiger prawn linguini, 🍴🐮chargrilled black Angus scotch fillet and 🐟 grilled fish of the day which was salmon.
We found the food a bit bland like everything lacked a bit of seasoning😣 The kingfish was nice but lacked tanginess. The salmon was overcooked 😒so it was dry when it was supposed to be served medium rare. The red wine jus for the scotch fillet was too sweet😆 we liked the pasta the best out of all. On the plus side, their servings are quite decent especially the potato haha😆 and service was excellent!😄😄 I guess it was the first night of their new menu so there are rooms for improvement with the food😅😅
