Dinner in full effect 🍝 Protein... Yes protein pasta! Barilla pasta brand has a new line of protein pasta. 17g of protein per serving, I'll take it 🙋🏻 I made wine shrimp pasta for dinner.
1 pound shrimp
1 package Barilla angel hair protein pasta
1 cup white wine (any will do)
1/2 cup of the pasta broth left over
Zest of one lemon
Juice of one lemon
2 garlic cloves
Chili flakes (to your liking)
2 Tbsp of butter (don't be afraid to use a little fat!)
Chopped parsley to your liking
Cook pasta and drain, but before you drain, save 1/2 cup of the broth.
Cook shrimp separately with olive oil spray and garlic salt and set aside when done.
In a separate, pan melt butter and sautée chili flakes with chopped garlic for 1-2 mins
Add 1 cup of wine, 1/2 cup pasta broth, and lemon juice and cook for 1-2 mins.
Toss in the pasta, shrimp, parsley, and lemon zest.
