An #Alsace classic from @martindredmond! ・ ・ ・ Today, I'm pairing 2012 Dopff & Irion Cuvée René Dopff Pinot Gris with an Alsacienne Quiche from @nilespieco. Yes, indeed "what grows together, goes together" The wine has an off-dry, fresh, ripe peach, apricot marmalade, mandarin orange, honey character with a very appealing supple texture. It was a very good pairing with the quiche, but I think this wine would be an excellent pairing with Asian not too spicy food. Chicken or Prawn Curry comes mind. 📸: @martinredmond
