Yesterday, I headed up to Perthshire, which is my favourite area of Scotland during the autumn season. The colours were just what I was hoping to see. Birds eye view of one of the many lochs around this area.
🔸🌲🔸 So telling the three basic conifers apart isn't so difficult after all! Pine = needles in groups of 2, 3, or 5. Spruce = single needle which rolls. Fir = single needle which is flat. Oh, and the yellow guys in this picture are Aspen, which are rhizomatic. Google that ✌️
