Had a awesome first show, it's the most lean I have ever been and brought my best to stage. I got 1st in mens physique debut, 1st in mens heavyweight physique and 1st in overall physique!

When I’m resting between sets, 90% of the time I’m thinking about food. Today I was thinking about my dream donut. A donut to end all donuts. I’ll save what I came up with for another time.

Also you wouldn’t believe the amount of people that have asked if I work at Dunkin Donuts because of my shirt. I do love Dunkin but I don’t work there. If I did I’d easily weigh 20 more lbs than I do currently.

So believe it or not we have only had a few photoshoots together. This one yielding an @ironmanmagazine cover. Then we had our viral "this could be us if we didn't like cake so much" image that @tomnguyenstudio took. Beyond that we have only shot together 3-4 more times than that.
With that, we train differently so we don't workout together. We run our businesses separate, and most everything else fitness related.
Don't get me wrong, she's my largest support system and me hers, but we just don't do a lot of that stuff together.
That brings me to my question. IF we did team up on some stuff, what do you think we should do?? #adofitness #fokkenstrong

Rest Day 😴 Thankful for a coach that knows just what my body needs! Fighting sickness for the last several days but coach @brandanfokken gave me a couple rest days and I'm feeling worlds better! Today was a rest day so I came in just to stretch and foam roll...things that honestly get pushed to the back burner when I'm busy. I'm reminded how much my body needs it today. Hurt so good! And with that, the 12 week #ifitfitsyourchallenge is over! Here’s a little recap of my 12 weeks!

Weeks 1-8: honestly really easy. Weight coming off without much work, getting stronger, 0 cardio. Hit a new Deadlift PR of 575lbs ❤️

Weeks 8-12: this is where my challenge began. It’s not that I wasn’t seeing results anymore. It’s just that life was trying to get in the way on me. Strength remained the same. Still barley any cardio.

I started the challenge at 207lbs and today I’m sitting at 195. I feel awesome. Leaner, stronger, and happier. I’ve never really had s desire to be completely shredded so I’m happy with where I’m at.

The biggest thing I’ve gotten from the challenge is adaptability. Being able to access whatever situation you’re in and use the habits you’ve built to make good decisions. I never realized how important the habits I’ve built over the last few years were until life got really crazy the last month or so.

I love this lifestyle. I love how it enhances my life in every way. And that’s the key! Find what works for you!

Current Physique - This week was a struggle. Coming back from Vegas I was behind on sleep and then also didn't get to take care of my usual weekend list; grocery shopping, meal prepping, laundry, house chores. So I was trying to catch up on those things after work and the gym each night. Which in turn made me have to stay up later never allowing me to get a full night of sleep.

Point being I have a goal for myself, and to reach that goal means doing whatever it takes to hit the gym and my meals each and every day. If i don't reach my desired outcome in my goals, at least I can't say it's from lack of trying. ALWAYS OUTWORK EVERYONE IN THE FUCKING ROOM! #NaylorNation
