"They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts."
Do you have friends in your life who you couldn't live without? I do. They are the ones we have road tripped with, vacationed with, and laughed until we cried with. We wept together through miscarriage and infertility, and rejoiced as we held one another's newborns. We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and promotions. And now we're doing life together in the trenches of parenthood raising six busy, amazing boys. .
Once a month we gather together for dinner around the table. And every month I am reminded just how much the Lord has blessed us by placing these people in our lives. There is something so intimate about sitting down with friends, sharing a meal, and pouring a few bottles of wine. For a few hours, the craziness of life stops, and you're able to relax, be truly yourself, and are reminded (yet again) of what truly matters in this crazy thing called life. .
