#littlethingstheory began as an idea -- the idea that the little things make the biggest impact; the idea that, as the saying goes, "it's the little things". These are the things that make your whole day a little brighter, but also happen in the blink of an eye and are easily forgotten in the craziness. So one day, I decided to create the hashtag and told a couple people about it, in hopes they would enjoy documenting the little moments and have a place to "store" them.
I remember being so thrilled that myself and a few others were using LTT to stay mindful of the little things. Ironically, most of my life's happiest little moments are far removed from social media (an invention that I have the most severe love/hate relationship with): eating a whole slice of Deru cake in one sitting, lighting a candle and curling up to read in a blanket cocoon, petting a puppy, the screams of joy that accompany a game-winning touchdown, changing into PJs after a long day, finding the perfect gift for a loved one, a hug when I need it most, a song that perfectly encaptures my mood, crossing something off a list, the moment a new inside joke is born, making someone smile... it's endless. Some moments never make it onto this platform, but it has been the epitome of LTT to watch my once tiny theory grab the attention of so many.
Now? Now LTT is about to hit 100,000 posts. 100,000 moments. 100,000 little things. ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND. The number blows me away, but more than that, it makes my heart so happy knowing that people from all over the world are connected by this one little theory. Just an idea I had in my head that one time. How freaking crazy.
I'm so thankful to everyone who has joined me in believing in the little things -- I never expected this to be anything more than a place for me to document my own little memories, but it has brought me the biggest joy seeing the moments that you all deem the best moments ❤ | #krisannaelizabethdesign #littlethingstheory #seattlecalligrapher #makeitblissful
